Winery tour Anakie vineyard

Toast to the Coast – 3rd to  4th of  November 2018

Anakie vineyard

Winery tour of The Bellarine Peninsula, home to many gorgeous wineries. They are gaining more popularity as well as winning prestigious awards every year. ‘Toast to the Coast’ is held over the Melbourne Cup long weekend. You have the opportunity to explore each of the three Geelong Wine subregions with a shuttle bus service between each winery! A perfect winery tour & another reason to book your stay at 100 Hitchcock for the cup weekend.

Why this tour is so different:

Each region boasts its own amazing points of differences and beautiful undulating fields of vineyards at their Spring best. This year, over 33 wineries are participating across the Bellarine, Surf Coast as well as the Moorabool Valley.
This is a perfect opportunity to visit as many wineries as you please.

If these dates don’t work for you, check out our blog with all you need to know about touring the Bellarine Wine Region here.

Getting there:

I’ll list all the wineries at the end of my blog as well as the link to buy tickets which cover the shuttle service as well as your passport to free wine tastings!100 Hitchcock guests are advised to catch an UBER to Geelong pick up point and take it from there.
Even if you aren’t staying at 100 Hitchcock, why not take the train to Geelong and enjoy a day (or two) of sunshine and good wine.
Meander through the vineyards. Enjoy a scenic lunch and be entertained with a selection of local musicians and sample an incredibly crisp range of wines. To book and find out more about this winery tour, click here.

No need for a designated driver

Why not take advantage of the “hop on and hop off” shuttle bus service. Therefore no one needs to be the designated driver!

The ‘Toast to the Coast’ Bus Circuit:
Maybe it is best to break your adventure into regions, firstly for the convenience of the shuttle service, and secondly to really get a taste for how different each region really is.
Buses depart from central Geelong on both days and take you to one of the 3 subregions where you can hop on one of these great loops!
